After downing Rugby last weekend, Colts meets a Souths side which was brushed aside by Newtown in the opening round.
After that convincing win the Tigers will meet Macquarie in this round’s set of two-day matches.
All sides have been affected by Orana Outlaws selections heading into Saturday, but few as much as Newtown and Colts.
For Newtown, Skinner brothers Mat and Steve, Jordan Peacock and Trent Smith will all be playing with the Outlaws in Bathurst while Dan Holland is also no certainty to play on Saturday.
Colts, meanwhile, have also had to call up a number of players to replace the Orana contingent of Jason Ryan, Chris Morton, Tom Atlee, Greg Buckley, and Marty Jeffrey.
Ben Patterson shapes as the ace up Newtown’s sleeve, opting not to play in the Plan B Regional Bash this season, while Colts will be looking to the likes of Wes Giddings, Reece Beachamp and veteran Brad Cox when it meets the Hornets.
The other match this round sees CYMS, another round one winner, meet Rugby.
CYMS is boosted by the inclusion of Ben Strachan and Brock Larance, both turning down the chance to play for Orana.
Rugby will look to its batsmen after just one of the top five made double figures in round one. Jacob Hill was the only one to fire, making a half century, but he misses out due to Outlaws selection.
