The cake was made by the Village Bakery to commemorate the royal visit to Dubbo but due to the rain was not handed out at the Victoria Park festivities.
Council governance team leader Susan Wade said it was a good feeling to hand out free cake to people in the mall.
“The cake was made to be shared at the royal event on Wednesday but due to the rain we put it away, so we didn’t get the chance to cut it and share it with the crowd,” she said.
“It is such a beautiful cake that we thought we’d bring it out today and share it with the people.”
