State Member for Dubbo Troy Grant said Women’s Week would be held from March 3 to March 9, with International Women’s Day to be celebrated on March 8.
“Women are so vital to making the Dubbo electorate a great place to live through their contributions to the workforce, their families and our community,” he said.
“NSW Women’s Week will give local organisations an opportunity to deliver education, mentoring and other activities like sporting events to encourage local women and girls to fulfil their potential.”
Applications to the NSW Women’s Week Grants Program close on Monday, November 12 at 5pm.
