It comes less than two months after the airline started its Dubbo-Brisbane route.
There has been no direct service between Melbourne and Dubbo since the demise of airline JetGo on June 1.
Dubbo mayor Ben Shields said Fly Corporate’s inaugural flight was an exciting time with holidaymakers and business people again being able to choose to fly direct between Dubbo and Melbourne.
“With the start of Fly Corporate services to and from Melbourne this week Dubbo people are again able to book travel to and from Melbourne for business or leisure,” Cr Shields said.
“There is no doubt the community value the direct access to Melbourne as it supports business opportunities, allows locals to visit friends and relatives for a short break or to connect with Melbourne services for a longer stay.
“It also allows Dubbo to promote again its accessibility to drive business growth and encourage more visitation.
Cr Shields will be at the airport to welcome the first passengers from Melbourne on the Fly Corporate flight into Dubbo.
