The talented forward was a big target in the Demons forward line this season and was a worthy winner, club president Nick Lowther said.
“It was a tight contest for our core group this year for male and female players, but both of our Best and Fairest players are deserving winners,” he said.

Charlton White said he felt honoured to be named his clubs best player for 2018.
“It was a very tight count due to a number of other guys having great seasons, so it was a nice surprise to get up and win,” he said. “I played some of my better footy this season in patches. I’ll focus on trying to become more consistent next year.”
The Dubbo podiatrist said this season presented him with some challenges.
“I hadn't played much footy over the last few years, so it did take a little bit of time to find my feet at the start of the season,” he said. “My biggest challenge was juggling time constraints of playing in addition to running my business.”
