Horizons is a fully-licensed restaurant operated by TAFE NSW Dubbo Certificate III Commercial Cookery and Certificate III and IV Hospitality students and offers a five-course menu for just $40 per person.
Cookery student, Patrick Bennell, said the restaurant provided the opportunity for students to learn and put into practice important skills that will help them forge successful careers in the hospitality industry.
“The kitchen and simulated restaurant has given me an insight into what it is actually like to run a kitchen,” he said.
Teacher Geoffrey Nicholas said the kitchen and restaurant were invaluable facilities in preparing students for the fast-paced hospitality industry.
“Many regular diners comment on the professionalism of the wait staff and calibre of the meals,” he said.
To book a table call Kristy Lewis on 6883 3604.
