Now Dubbo residents will get a chance to meet her in person.
Ms Malbin’s photos have been turned into four books: The Grower – the Heartbeat of Australia, The Grower – the Roots of Australia, The Drover and The Driver.
Her books aim to give a photographic insight into the farming industry to help people understand their hardship and how they strive for success in an environment that’s forever changing.
On her website, Ms Malbin said: “I am always looking through photographic eyes, to capture the essence of the outback, the rural industry and way of life – to evoke feelings and emotions in people that view my pictures which encourage them to feel a sense of being there, and heighten their appreciation for what is pictated in the scene.”.
Ms Mabin will be in Dubbo on Thursday at Snares Talbragar Newsagency for a book signing.
