The 13th annual expo will be held between 10am and 2pm on Saturday.
Dubbo Regional Council’s sustainability and education officer Catriona Jennings said there would be 40 exhibitors.
“There will be a range of sustainable living exhibits with tips on how to reduce household energy and water bills, create less waste and live in harmony with the environment,” Ms Jennings said.
A new feature of the event will include a series of short talks for residents building or renovating. Local experts will provide talks on ideal house and garden design, tips on creating an energy smart home and tips on how to create an edible garden.
Kids will be kept entertained with Fizzics Education’s science shows and workshops. There will also be native animal encounters and face painting.
