All Bunnings stores in NSW and the ACT are holding a sausage sizzle fundraiser for Rural Aid’s Buy A Bale campaign.
The barbecue commenced at 9am and will run until 4pm.
Funds raised will go towards livestock feed and household essentials for drought affected families and communities in every impacted state.
Bunnings team members from across western NSW got behind the cause and helped run the barbecue, with every cent raised going directly to the campaign.
There was a huge lineup of people ready to donate when The Western Magazine visited the Dubbo Bunnings store on Friday morning.
A $20 donation to the Buy A Bale campaign helps to buy a small bale of hay.
It also helps transport it to the drought affected areas.
All other Bunnings states and territories will hold their barbecue fundraiser on Friday, August 10.
