Founder of the Forensic Services Police Bush Safari Brian Worboys has been slipping an envelope into the hands of Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Dubbo Support Group president Terry Clark every year since 2008.

The latest offering gave Mr Clark a pleasant surprise.
Inside the envelope was a cheque for $20,000, double the usual donation.
Across a decade the two-week and family-friendly safari has donated a total of $105,000 to the support group which raises and collects money for the development of the RFDS Dubbo Base.

In 2017 the safari started in Bourke and ended in Dubbo after taking in rural and remote communities such as Alice Springs and sites including Uluru.
About 100 adults and children in 30 vehicles dug deep for the iconic service that the safari has not needed to date.
“But we know they are there and able to support us,” Mr Worboys said. “They do a fantastic job.”
Mr Clark estimated about 20 per cent of the turnover of the RFDS “as a whole” came from donations. “We’re just grateful,” he said.
