They have appealed for public assistance in identifying the female from CCTV footage stills.
Police believed the female may be able to assist with the investigation. They have urged anyone with information about this incident to call Dubbo police on 6883 1599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police have said information provided would be treated with the strictest of confidence.
The female has been described as being Caucasian in appearance, 50 to 60 years old, with dark blonde hair and wearing a large black coat, pink jumper and grey pants.
Police have also appealed for the public’s help to locate a man wanted by Redfern detectives.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 31-year-old Josiah Burton, over the alleged manufacturing of a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.
Redfern Police Area Command detectives have conducted searches to locate him and have now appealed for public assistance. The man is known to visit the Orana Mid-Western Police region.
Police have described the man as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm to 170cm tall, of medium build and has brown hair.
Police have urged anyone who sees this man or believes they know his whereabouts is urged to contact triple zero (000) immediately.
