The early bird special offers either a discount on cost (5.3km and 10km events) or a free running shirt (half and full marathon) while also making sure you get training and health tips in the lead up to the event.
With the 10 km and half marathon events selling out last year, anyone that plans to take part in the Dubbo Stampede, which will be held at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo on Sunday, 26 August, but is yet to register, is encouraged to do so as soon as possible.

“So far the numbers for the Stampede have been strong and ahead of the same time last year,” Dubbo Stampede President, Rod Campbell said.
“The early bird special really is a massive win for all participants.
“This event is ideal for families as it helps to promote an active and healthy lifestyle for kids and the early bird special is just another way we try to encourage family participation, as is free entry to the zoo the day prior or following your event.”
Participants have four distances to choose from, being the 5.3km Dingo Dash, 10km Cheetah Chase, 21.1km Zebra Zoom Half Marathon and 42.2km Rhino Ramble Marathon events. A 5.3km Wallaby Wheel event is also offered for wheelchair participants.
