Camilla Ward, founder of the youth theatre company at Western Plains Cultural Centre and director of Brainstorm, reports of a “great response” to three shows at the weekend.

“Numbers are building for experimental theatre showing Dubbo is ready to experience something different,” she said.
Brainstorm, described by Mrs Ward as an “exploration of the teenage brain through a theatrical experience”, featured a cast of teenagers aged 14 to 19 years who had input into a script developed by Dubbo writer Toni Grant.
The 30-odd members of BBC will be working on two more shows as they examine tour options.
