The race day, to be held on June 15, will be the official launch of the 2018 Dubbo Rhino Awards.
It will also be a chance for businesses to spend a few hours at the Dubbo Turf Club, said Mr Wright.
“We had a really successful day last year and had a lot of positive feedback so off the back of that we decided to run it a second time. It’s a way for our members to come out and have a bit of lunch,” he said.
“Beau Robinson (Australian rugby union player), he’s going to some out and do a ten or 15 minute chat as well.”
Mr Robinson will be speaking about his career, as well as the transition from professional sports person to business man.
“For $30 you get entry in, lunch, a couple of beers, entertainment, networking and the races. For $30 they can go and get a counter lunch and a beer and get back to work, or they can come out here and get a whole lot more,” Mr Wright said.
For the fashionable, Fashions on the Field will be running. FlyPelican has donated two double return airfares from Newcastle or Canberra for the best dressed male and female.
The Fashions on the Field is also part of the Dubbo Turf Club’s Whitney’s Fashion Series with $8000 worth of bling on offer.
As a showcase meeting the minimum prize money for each race has been increased from $20,000 to $30,000.
