The hometown hopes suffered back-to-back defeats in Wednesday’s pool stage of the tournament at Apex Oval but downed regional rivals Riverina on Thursday morning to move through to Friday’s Plate Final.
The Plate Final is the third tier decider, with the main event being the Shield Final while the Cup Final features sides who lost Thursday’s semi-finals.

Gerard Hart and his side, featuring a stack of Dubbo-based players, will take on North Coast on Friday and that shapes as an almighty challenge after North Coast’s dominant 44-0 win over South Coast on Thursday.
The main Shield Final will see Sydney North East, who scored a brave 24-12 win over Sydney North West, take on North West.
North West will carry the hopes of regional fans after accounting for Sydney East 37-15 on Thursday.
The Cup Final will see Sydney South West play Hunter.
The action begins at 8.30am on at Apex Oval on Friday with the three finals being contested early on.
Western and North Coast meet at 9.40am and that is followed by the Cup Final at 10.50am and the main Shield Final between Sydney North East and North West is at 12pm.
