Lisa announced in March this year that she was to close her flagship magazine, The Collective, and just days later revealed her plans for the regional speaking tour.
From Monday, May 21, Lisa began her ‘In Conversation’ expedition and this Thursday she will be in Dubbo where she hopes to speak with many local entrepreneurs.
Speaking with the Daily Liberal ahead of the tour, Lisa said Dubbo played a big role in her life growing up as she was always travelling to the City for events such as sporting competitions.
“I haven’t had the chance to get back, but it’s been imperative to where my heart lies,” she said.
Lisa hopes to inspire local people who are hoping to start up their own business and give them the confidence they might be lacking.
Some of the topics she’ll cover is the economy, technology, how ot grow your business, marketing yourself and spreading the word.
Her message to those people interested in coming along to the Dubbo session was to have a burning question in mind for her.
“It’s very interactive.. it’s not just me talking. I want people to ask me anything, nothing is off limits,” she said.
The Dubbo session will be held at Taronga Western Plains Zoo on Thursday, May 24 from 7pm. For more visit collectivehub.com. Or to purchase tickets head to www.eventbrite.com.au
