The show ‘Snake Tails’ was conducted by Bob Withey from the Australian Reptile Encounter.
The safe and informative shows provided Dubbo locals and visitors with a better insight into snakes.
Held from Monday to Friday, the three daily shows saw great attendance numbers at each session.
Last Thursday there was well over 60 people for the show with ages ranging from 5 years to 70.
Some of the top tips from Bob was that people never pick up a snake.
“If it’s not your pet don’t pick it up.. never pick up a wild animal,” he told the entranced audience.
Bob also went on to say that all snakes in Australia are protected by law and that killing a snake is illegal.
Some of the snakes shows during the Dubbo session included a tiger snake, a red-bellied and a brown snake.
