The Paramount Tennis club's summer competition has wrapped up with three great grand finals across it’s A, B and C Grades.

The summer competition, which commenced at the end of January and concluded last week, saw a huge amount great tennis played and much improvement from a number of players as it progressed.
In the A Grade competition (Monday night), team Kyrgios (Luke McConochie, Jeremy Lambell – playing for Michael Tritton, Wayne Henry and Wendy Cox) comfortably accounted for team Zverez (Finn Edwards – playing for Brad Williams, Mark Murray, Tim Billiards and David Poole) in a strong performance.
In the B Grade competition (Wednesday night), team Puma (Stuart Eckford, Graeme Wallace, Jordan Gannon and Gerard Cahill) claimed the victory over team Adidas (Allan Blanch, Mandy Wells, Alec Duncan and Jess Cancian) after a countback was needed with both teams equal at the end of the 11 week round robin format.
In the C Grade competition (Thursday night), team Court (Tom Warren, Winky Fleming, Irina Musat and Surat Malla) were the victors with team Cash (Richard Clarke, Jactina Edwards, Sudhir Paudel and Wendy Pile) runners-up in what was another enjoyable and social competition.
Players will now enjoy a break during the school holidays, with the next competition to commence the week starting Monday, April 30.
Players interested in playing in the autumn competition, which runs for 10 weeks, are asked to sign up on the noticeboard in the clubhouse at 76 Wingewarra St, Dubbo.
The A, B and C Grade competitions cater for players of all abilities and interest levels so if anyone looking to have some fun, play tennis and enjoy a social night out during the week, can sign up today.
