The idea came from shop and street beautification consultant Alison Dent, who wanted to see 3D images painted during the ‘Pave the Way to Gular Festival.’
The town’s water tower, a pavement and a shop wall, will all be painted.
The main Bourbah street will have six artwork sites on buildings with another seven sites including the water tower, bus stop, the public amenities block and 3D pavement images.
The work will run from Thursday to April 8. Two artists have already started on the water tower and three walls in an alcove.
Artists include Kaff-Eine, James Giddy, Jenny McCracken, Goodie, Sam Brooks, Peter Brown, Claire Foxton, Rudy Kistler, John Murray and DNart.
