A champion of Dubbo’s Dawson Park track, Falcon’s Fury will jump from box one in the second of the two 516m heats on Friday.
One of the features on the Dubbo Greyhound Racing Club calendar, the heats of the Mayor’s Cup will highlight the 11-race meeting while there will also be plenty of interest around the O’Brien’s Glass Cup Masters (400m)
Falcon’s Fury returned from injury in late October but proved he’s still one to watch when winning at the Dubbo track last month.
That was followed by his most recent start, a fourth-placed finish at Wentworth Park.
He will start a hot favourite in the second heat against the likes of Raymond Smith’s Midnight Treat and Spring Jazz, trained by Braddon’s wife Pamela.
Just Magic and Cruize’s Magic headline the first heat.
Racing starts at 6.15pm.
