The event is slated for Saturday, April 28, at Lazy River Estate, and performing alongside Condobolin’s favourite son will be the likes of Icehouse, Baby Animals, Mark seymour, The Black Sorrows, Vika and Linda, Pseudo Echo and Boom Crash Opera.
Noll was part of this year’s event which drew a massive crowd to watch John Farnham, James Reyne and Daryl Braithwaite, and said he can’t wait to return.
“Going to Dubbo is like going home for me because it is so close to Condo,” he said.
“I had a great time there this year as part of the Red Hot Summer Tour and to come back with some of these great bands that I grew up listening to is something I’m really looking forward to.
“The great thing about Red Hot Summer is that it really is a celebration of great Aussie music, and to share a stage with the guys I did this year and then to have some great groups lining up next year is something I just shake my head at.”
Noll admits touring as part of the Red Hot Summer roadshow is different to performing his own series of shows.
And he praised the work done by promoter Duane McDonald in creating an event that is unique every year, one that is sure to appeal to the music fans of Dubbo.
“As a performer there’s no stress in these shows because you’re not worried about all the behind the scenes stuff that goes with organising and promoting the event,” he said.
“That’s one of the great things ‘Macca’ does with this show is mix things up.
“Last year was mainly about individual artists like John Farnham, Daryl Braithwaite and James Reyne. This year its a collection of awesome Aussie groups.
“And it’s going to be something that people from all generations can enjoy because a lot of the artists in the lineup, and their greatest songs, are still being played.”
Tickets for the Red Hot Summer Tour go on sale from 9am on Thursday, October 26, through Ticketmaster.
