According to weatherzone.com.au there will be cold, wet and windy conditions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday while Friday and Saturday are expected to have white starts, with snow predicted for both days above 900 metres.
Friday is forecast to be the beginning of a three-day cold snap in Orange with maximum temperatures of eight and nine degrees across the weekend to follow minimum marks of -1 during the night.
The centre of Lithgow is again unlikely to see any snow but high country areas around the region may be more fortunate.
The forecast comes a week after the region’s first genuine snowfall of the season when several centimetres were dumped on Oberon last Monday night.
In Dubbo temperatures are predicted to drop to 2 degrees on Thursday and Saturday with zero predicted on Sunday. Possible showers are forecast for Friday and Saturday.
Mudgee temperatures will be slightly cooler than Dubbo with a minus one and minus two predicted over the weekend.
There’s not much rain on the radar, with nothing above five millimetres forecast in the next seven days.
