As the frenetic dance program draws to a close, little kids aged 12 years and under showed off their skills in classical, modern, jazz, contemporary and tap.
Five-year-old Millie Close, of Dance Unlimited in Mudgee, said she loved dancing all different styles, but her favourite was jazz.
“Because I get to do cartwheels,” she said. “You get to be on stage and you get to dance with all of your friends.”
Dance Unlimited’s Sky Bowlay, Emily Reiss, Lily Wallace, Issy O’Brien and Madison Johnson danced the eight years and under classical.
“They did beautifully,” teacher Haley Priest said. “They were in time, they smiled beautifully and they had a good time.”
The vocal and instrumental program will resume on Monday, with the dance wrapping up next Saturday.
