The Dubbo Breakthru Sewing Program has made twenty pillowcases which will be donated to Pillow Cases for Oncology Kids.
The program ensures each child undergoing cancer treatment will be given their own pillowcase.
Customers at breakthru Dubbo enjoyed designing and making the cases which feature patchwork, applique, stripes and prints. Each cotton pillowcase is different.
A considerable amount of fabric was used for the project so the ladies are on the lookout for anyone who might be able to donate usable pieces of patchwork fabric for their next project.
Anyone with fabric to donate should contact breakthru on 6884 5151.
