Funding to help in crime fight
Under the Safer Communities Fund, 71 organisations will share in around $9.5 million in the first round of funding.
Funding is provided to local communities where local crime and anti-social behaviour is a problem, Mr Keenan said.
It will be used to boost crime prevention initiatives with the installation of fixed and mobile CCTV or lighting.
