Dubbo Squash Club hosted the event, which attracted 70 juniors.
“As one of the first junior tournaments for the year, it was great to see these players making the trip to Dubbo,” Dubbo Squash Club’s Ian Shepherdson said.
“The games were of a very high standard and I am sure we will be seeing some of these girls and boys in the representative teams.”
Mr Shepherdson said a large part of the event’s success was due to the contribution of others.

“A big thank you to all those who turned up to watch and to the RSL Club for use of the courts,” he said.
“We had a number of helpers over the weekend, without whom the tournament wouldn’t be possible.
“ We would also like to thank Stellar Sports for their donation of a Stellar “Aggressor” squash racquet to raffle. This was won by Graeme Commins of Dubbo.”
Money raised from the raffle will be used to promote junior squash in Dubbo and assist young players when they travel away.
