The club’s 60 members have spent months making arrangements for the milestone at the club’s home in the Victoria Park precinct.
Registrations for high tea were closed but community members were welcome to come along and watch fun games in the morning or listen to the band play from 4pm and enjoy the atmosphere, acting publicity officer Elizabeth Allen said.
