Mrs Acton organised for Zumba Tracy to visit the school every Friday until recess and all stages participate in a 40 minute session.
The students are loving it and really getting into the spirit of things, particularly Stage 3 with the ribbons.
Jeans for Genes Day
A Jeans for Genes Day was held at Dubbo North PS last week and it was supported by both staff and students.
School members paid a gold coin for wearing their jeans to school and all the money collected will go straight to the Jeans for Genes charity.
Award Winning Assembly
3/4L held the Primary assembly in Week 4 and students received Merit Awards, Principal’s award and Uniform awards as well as showcased their lovely pieces of art and wonderfully creative pieces of writing.
3/4L then entertained the crowd with their performance. Well done Miss Lander and the students of 3/4L.

Safety First
Front Crossing: Please be aware that there will be no crossing guard at the Fitzroy Street entrance to the school for the next two weeks, as they go through the process to find a replacement for the vacant position.
I will be out there in the afternoons but it would really help us out and be safer for your child if you could cross the street and meet them at the front gate, rather than waiting on the park side of the school.
Myall Street Entrance: I have had numerous reports from concerned parents about the way students are being picked up at the Myall Street entrance in the afternoons.
It would really help us out and make things safer for your child if you could cross the street and meet them at the gate or inside the school, rather than waiting on the opposite side of the street.
Also, students are not to wait out the front of the school to be picked up as they are unsupervised. Students need to wait near the canteen where they are supervised by the teacher on bus duty and then picked up at the Myall Street gates.
Have a great week
