The Pink Angels’ mission has been to care, help and support breast cancer patients throughout the Dubbo region on their journey.
Since Pink Angels first began in May 2011, the committee members have distributed 500 care packs and helped over 190 patients in Dubbo with extra services including housekeeping, meals and everyday garden maintenance.
Pink Angels founder Donna Falconer said Saturday night’s event was to celebrate a wonderful milestone of reaching five years, and to raise money, which will go in directly supporting local patients with breast cancer.
“We honestly never thought we’d be going this long,” Ms Falconer said.
“Pink Angels wouldn’t have gotten this far if it wasn’t for the people of Dubbo and the wider community who have embraced the Pink Angels and supported us for these five years.
“Their support has allowed us to help those on their journey with breast cancer.”
