The Limousin cow and five-month-old bull calf were show cattle and of great personal value to the owner, according to Orana rural crime officer Detective Senior Constable Tim Connolly.
They were noticed missing on December 17, 2015.
Detective Senior Constable Connolly said the pair wandered from a property on Euromedah Road and had probably crossed the river or followed it up or downstream. The cow had a purple ear tag with ROC on it.
Anyone with information about the missing cattle has been asked to contact their local police station.
