As well as the parade, the cadets attended an award ceremony recognising their achievements for 2015 in various aspects of their training.
Leading Cadet Frances Sinclair, who has been a cadet for a year, said she had learnt team work, confidence and information about the air force since joining the squadron.
"For me coming into cadets was a way to build confidence and I think I've already done that," she said.
Warrant Officer Geordie Catto said cadets was one of the best youth groups that existed.
"You make lifelong friends. You make the strongest relationships," Warrant Officer Catto said.
Leading Cadet Eli Catto said it wasn't always serious and the cadets also had the opportunity to have fun.
Once he finished school, Leading Cadet Catto said he wanted to be an aircraft technician, while Leading Cadet Sinclair said she wanted to be an engineer.
For those thinking about joining, Leading Cadet Sinclair said cadets wasn't what people would expect.
"It's not all rough around the edges, you do meet people who are lifelong friends."
Warrant Officer Catto described it simply as an "adventure".
The squadron meets every Monday night from 6pm to 9.30pm during school terms. The next major intake will start when school resumes in 2016.
