POLICE converged on a neighbourhood in Dubbo's west on Sunday morning as they continued an investigation into a shooting earlier this month.

Police said they were looking for a person of interest in the shooting on November 17, in which a 24-year-old man sustained a gunshot to his thigh about 10 kilometres from Dubbo.
On Sunday afternoon police said no arrests were made, but they recovered a firearm at a premises during the operation.
Investigations were continuing and police appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
Police and the Ambulance Service of NSW were on scene in Currawong Road and Meadowbank Drive from early on Sunday morning.
An officer was stationed at the intersection of the two streets, preventing cars from turning into Meadowbank Drive.
Mid-Sunday police confirmed an operation was under way along Sunset Way and that it was related to an ongoing investigation.
Road closures were in place, police confirmed.
On November 19 an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old teen were charged with being an accessory after the fact to discharge firearm with intent in the matter.
