The working party, a partnership between TAFE's community services staff and students, Dubbo Violence Collective and headspace Dubbo, has been meeting on Tuesdays ahead of the November 19 event.
The annual event aims to bring the community together to take a stand against sexual violence towards women, working party spokesperson Steve Newman said.
He said members of the community did not have to book to take part in this year's march.
Indeed, they were being urged to turn up on the night or get a group of friends and family together and gather at the Church Street rotunda at 5pm, he said.
In addition to the signature march, Mr Newman said, there was expected to be a range of other family activities such as a jumping castle and food stalls.
While women were expected to turn out in force for the event, Mr Newman said it was equally important for men to take part.
"We are a big community and all have to live together, it's important we have a united voice and stand up against violence against women," he said.
