► Friday, August 28 - Seeing the Buddha Within at Dubbo Yoga, 69 Macquarie Street from 12pm to 2pm. Buddhist Monk Gen Dawa will share Buddha’s advice on learning to discover our innate potential or Buddha nature, through transformative meditations and ways of thinking. Learn how to develop peace of mind. By holding special views and intentions, gradually reduce your sense of the ordinary and in this way maintain a loving and compassionate attitude towards both yourself and others. Cost is $15. ►Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30 - Latin American Film Festival at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre. This promises to be an unforgettable experience, with 12 feature films screened over the two days. Each film is from a different Latin American country. The event starts at 9.30am and finishes by 10pm each day. Cost is free.
►Saturday, August 29 - The Kransky Sisters at the Dubbo RSL Club Resort at 7.30pm. The Kranksy Sisters are back for a night on the town. Join the trio as they make their way through the hits from ABBA to Pink Floyd and Beyonce to AC/DC with their unique comic styling and musical accompaniments. All tickets are $39. ►Sunday, August 30 - Flavours from the Farm at Lazy River Estate from 11am to 3pm. This time the The Gourmet Goat Lady and Badlands Brewery will be on show for all to see. Cost is $65 per person.
► Sunday, August 30 - Xavier Rudd and the United Nations at the Dubbo RSL Club Resort. Doors open at 7pm and the show kicks off at 8pm. Pre-sale tickets are $55 and $65 at the door.
► Sunday, August 30 - Dubbo Macquarie Lions Club Swap Meet Car and Bike Show at the Dubbo Showground from 7am to 2pm.
