The Roosters under-18s side didn't have enough players and were forced to forfeit but some of the CYMS juniors threw on Cobar jerseys to allow the young Roosters who had made the trip to have a game.
The Fishies juniors who played for Cobar made a big impact and the Roosters even won the friendly match.
The Roosters also forfeited at Forbes in the previous round due to a lack of numbers but the referee that day didn't allow a social match between the sides to go ahead.
"CYMS under-18s should be commended for their sportsmanship, our boys travelled to Forbes, a five hour trip, and didn't play a game of football but today the CYMS boys jumped on our team," Graham said.
"And our boys haven't won a game in about six or seven years and even though today didn't count those boys went home with a smile on their face.
"I'd like to thank the CYMS club for that, we really appreciated it."
While it was a real highlight for the Cobar youngsters it was also great fun for the Fishies as they got to have a run against their mates.
It also allowed coach Gerry 'Chicka' Merritt to have a good look at his side going up against each other in what was basically an advanced training session.
Some of the Cobar under-18s also then backed up and played both reserve and first grade while the majority of the seniors played both grades.
But Graham said he was still proud of his club's efforts with no senior matches forfeited this season.
The Roosters were still enjoying their footy despite being handed a huge loss in first grade against the Fishies and Graham said his side should be credited for giving it their all for the full 80 minutes.
"It's not really disappointing, the boys know what they're getting into and some have to play two or three games but they keep turning up," he said.
"It's hard for them when there was five people on the bus with 54 seats so you can imagine how disheartening that is at 6.30 in the morning but I can't fault them."
