The 10 key themes were established from the 453 submissions that generated in excess of 1000 ideas, and were discussed at the Ignite Community Leader's Workshop last Sunday.
The workshop, which was attended by business representatives, community leaders and members and councillors, discussed ways the key themes could improve the CBD and attract more people into the space.
Despite there not being a formal timeline in place for what is to follow the workshop, Dubbo mayor Mathew Dickerson dismissed the notion that recent traction and momentum that had been created would be lost.
"It is not a concern but we are conscious of moving things forward," Cr Dickerson said.
"I want to have something happen quickly but at the same time you need to follow proper processes to make sure things are done correctly."
Cr Dickerson said it was difficult to pinpoint a particular idea that stood out from the rest, but there were a couple that got his attention.
"Getting some activity in the vacant buildings in the CBD would create a lot more activity in the area," Cr Dickerson told the Daily Liberal.
"There is nothing worse than empty shops so if a short-term lease could be offered to an artist or something that would benefit everyone. I think street art in designated areas would be great and having animals situated from the CBD leading out to the zoo on the Tracker Riley Cycleway would be great."
