It's the time of the year again that applications open for the NSW governments Community Building Partnership program.
Councils and Incorporated not-for-profit groups are encouraged to apply.
This program allows community groups to apply for funding to complete projects what will have positive social, recreational and environmental outcome for the community.
Since 2011 I have been fortunate enough to support projects that have built, upgraded or enhanced local infrastructure and benefited the community.
For further information on this program visit www.communitybuildingpartnership.nsw.gov.au or call my electorate office on 6882 3577.

State Budget 2015
I was pleased with last week's state budget to see that Gulgong is set to receive a new Fire Station.
The $900,000 project was kick started with an allocation of $250,000 in this year's budget.
The NSW Nationals in government recognise the important of our emergency services and have provided funding to equip emergency service workers with the tools and facilities they need to better protect us.
As a former police officer I have firsthand experience in the emergency service sector and will continue to advocate for them.
Roads have also been a big winner across the Dubbo electorate with funds allocated to the Newell, Mitchell and Golden Highways and funds to be provided to Narromine, Wellington, Dubbo and Mid-Western Regional councils for road maintenance projects.
Health was another winner with funds provided to continue works on the Dubbo Hospital redevelopment and the Gulgong MPS project.
Planning is also underway for a community consultation forum in Mudgee to kick off discussion and planning on the hospital redevelopment.

Mobile Black Spots
It was great last week to announce that the Dubbo electorate is set to receive seven additional mobile network towers to address black spot issues across the electorate with Goolma, Lue, Mumbil, Windeyer and Dubbo set to benefit.
