Representatives from Fitness Focus handed over two stadiometers, measuring tools that allowed staff to take accurate heights of patients.
Diabetes Services nurse manager Marisa Bolton said accurate height measurement was extremely important in children with diabetes.
“They’re expensive to buy and this is the gold standard in measurement,” she said. “We have already started using them - they’ll be used every day.
“We are very appreciative of this donation and it’s important for people to know how much they will benefit our patients.”
