This year's exhibition showcased 98 quilts and quilted bags, contributed by 25 local quilters aged between 20 and 88.
Exhibition co-ordinator Nola Jones said the DPQ is celebrating 30 years of quilting and patchwork.
"We've got beginners, we've got advanced," she said.
"We've made over 800 quilts in 30 years."
The quilts ranged in size from full double bed quilts to small lap quilts, and DPQ secretary Meg O'Brien said quilts were often made with someone in mind.
"A lot of love and a lot of time goes into all of our quilts," she said.
The group also makes gift quilts, which are donated to local organisations such as Meals on Wheels, the women's shelter and the NSW Department of Community Services' Kids in Crisis.
Mrs O'Brien said the gift quilts are a great comfort to the people who receive them.
"Quilts are tactile - they're like permanent hugs," she said.
