A NEW survey has revealed when it comes to five-star customer service, tradies have come out on top, with six trade business categories included in the top 10 companies.

The survey, conducted by TrueLocal, explored the top 50 business categories on its site by listing volume to find small business industries with the most five star ratings. The top 10 list shows electricians and painters shared fourth place with 75 per cent of reviewers rating them five stars.
Dubbo Laser Electrical managing director Alex Klaassens said customer service is the number one priority.
“Customer service is a step-bystep process. Our first priority is to respond to customers requirements in a short time frame,” he said.
“Once we’re there, we want to provide the best quality service the customer is looking for.
“The final step is making sure the customer is satisfied.”
Carpenters were not far behind in sixth place, with 71 per cent of reviewers rating five stars.
Handymen came in at eighth place, with reviewers rating them 69 per cent, and plumbers 10th with 65 percent of reviewers giving them a five star rating.
Topping the list were personal trainers rated at five stars by 86 per cent of reviewers, followed by photographers rated at five stars by 78 per cent of reviewers and web designers came in at third place with 76 per cent of reviewers rating them five stars.
Dubbo Snap Fitness personal trainer Josh Majdalani said excellent customer service is a great way to promote a business.
“We want the customer to be happy with the service,” he said.
Mr Majdalani said there were many ways he provides excellent customer service to his clients at Snap Fitness. “We achieve long-term and short-term goals and keep them motivated,” he said.
