Played on Saturday, May 2, 23 representative and development teams will converge on Caltex Park for the carnival.
The day is set to showcase talent from under-14s right through to seniors and act as the primary selection tool for this year's under-16, under-18 and senior Western Rams squads.
While it mainly used for the selection of representative sides, pride will be on the line and the local Group 11 side will be determined to make a big impact after going down to Group 10 last season.
"In 2013 as a region, we brought all the teams together, from various age groups and we couldn't have asked for a better day," Country Rugby League director, and Western Rams chairman Peter McDonald said.
"Having teams from across the region from juniors through to seniors promotes the western region pathway, creating new development opportunities for players and volunteers."
The 2015 cluster has some added enhancements, with Castlereagh League to play-off with Group 11 and Group 10 in a three-way senior series, designed to present players with a better opportunity to earn Rams selection.
Group 11 and Group 10 will play Castlereagh at 2.20pm and 4.20pm respectively, before the two groups kick off in the main event at 6.15pm.
"It's terrific to see Castlereagh players testing themselves against Group 11 and Group 10 this year, it promotes healthy competition for Western selection," McDonald said.
"I understand Castlereagh has been active in planning their preparation and have been the first to select the senior team, together with the appointment of former Cronulla Shark Mark Wakefield as coach, we should see them mould together a strong team.
"The Woodbridge Cup and Midwest Cup sides will also play-off, from 11.50am."
Group 10, Group 11, Castlereagh and a President's side will play off in the under-18 cluster, while Group 10, Group 11, Group 14 and a President's team will play in the under-16 competition.
The 2015 cluster welcomes Castlereagh League and Group 11 into the league tag draw. Both competitions are fielding their inaugural representative league tag teams at the carnival, taking on the established Group 10 and Woodbridge outfits.
The under-13, under-14 and under-15 trials will be contested by Group 11 and Group 10.
