Forte - Let's Get Loud will kick off at 6.30pm on Monday, March 30, at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre.
Dubbo College year 12 students, Billie Palin and Nathan Bryon, were the only two students brave enough to study the HSC extension music course.
As an ensemble assessment, the pair were told they needed to plan a significant event in the community, which they would then be graded on.
From that, Billie and Nathan have spent countless hours combining their musical talents with a number of schools in the community, including Dubbo South Primary, Dubbo Public, Dubbo North Primary and Dubbo College.
"We decided when we were planning it that we wanted to go all out," Billie said.
With a strong focus on showcasing the arts in the Dubbo public education sector, Nathan said Forte - Let's Get Loud would have everything from dance and drama and even circus acts.
Billie and Nathan will also perform a combination of opera and musical theatre and will also perform with the Dubbo Harmony singers.
"It's shaping up to be a great night," Nathan said.
The pair both agreed the arts community was often underestimated in Dubbo and said they were looking forward to the response and feedback from the audience.
"I think people will be pleasantly surprised to see what the arts has to offer," Billie said.
With both young guns setting their sights on further studies in the arts after school, the sky is really the limit for how far in the industry Billie and Nathan can go.
Tickets are $6 and can be purchased from the DRTCC box office by phoning 6801 4378 or emailing info@drtcc.com.au.
