Both Orange and Dubbo won their opening games, over Bathurst (2) (65-36) and Cowra (58-26) respectively, before meeting in a clash of the titans on Sunday afternoon, which would decide first place.

With a youthful side, brimming with experienced players and equally inexperienced players, some suggested 2015 would be the year Dubbo toppled Orange, ending its unprecedented run over 19-straight titles.

However, the young Orange side proved it is more than capable of extending the run to two decades, pummelling the visitors by 34 goals, winning 65-31 and taking first place.

"Bathurst really put it to us, but we got away with the win, and then we put in an even better performance against Dubbo. We're very happy with the result," Orange coach Em Callaway said.

"We went in confident, and we knew Dubbo had lost a couple from last year but we were very good. Having level headedness and experience in all three thirds of the court is really important for us, and we're lucky to have girls like Erin Johnstone, Tegan Dray and Sheryll Selwood in the attacking, the centre and defensive thirds (respectively)."

Orange will take on Cowra in the first versus fourth semi-final on Sunday, while Dubbo will clash with Bathurst (1).

Orange's second string side, also playing in division one, was gunning for a top four spot heading into Sunday but two losses put paid to their play-off hopes.

Orange B lost out to Bathurst (1) (57-49) and Cowra (42-33) in Sunday's final two preliminary rounds, slumping to sixth and missing the finals.

In the under 17 competition, Orange completed two clinical victories on Sunday against Cowra (35-16) and Blayney (30-21) to take out top spot with an undefeated record.

Orange's under 15 unit suffered a thrashing at the hands of Cowra in the final preliminary game, losing out 40-12 and sacrificing top spot to the black and whites in the process, but qualifying for the finals in second.
