Police from Central West Crash Investigation Unit are investigating a quad bike crash in South Bathurst on Monday.

About 6.30pm police from Bathurst were called to a nature reserve between William Place and Minna Place.
Emergency services found a 31-year-old man, believed to be the driver of the quad bike, and his 10-year-old male pillion passenger injured on the ground, police said in a statement.
Both were treated at the scene before being taken to Bathurst Base Hospital.
The driver suffered internal injuries and the child sustained a laceration to the top of his head.
Investigations are continuing.
