Seven matches were played in Dubbo and one in Narromine as the best young players in the state set of in their quest to become champions of NSW and the ACT.
The State Challenge is a brand new tournament created by Cricket Australia in conjunction with Cricket NSW and Cricket ACT to help identify the best young players at an early age.
Sixteen teams were in action yesterday and there were some thrilling matches as many games went down to the final overs.
