Brett Wrigley took 4-21 and Al Lloyd finished with 3-12 to set up the win as Rugby could only manage 151 and then the Tigers cruised to the total for the loss of just four wickets and inside 32 overs.

After winning the toss and batting Rugby were looking comfortable at 0-43 but they then lost 3-0 to let Newtown Black back in the game.

Craig Wood and Ricky Pannu both made 33 while Adam Stone made 27 for Rugby but no one could go on and make the big score required.

The Tigers lost Matt Merritt (0) early but Andrew Walden (37), Graeme Baker (28) and Wrigley (29 not out) saw them reach the target with minimal fuss.

Stone took 2-37 for Rugby.

Things weren't so good for Newtown Gold as they went down to RSL-Colts by three wickets at Lady Cutler South 3.

Colts' Nathan Daniels took 4-25 to help dismiss the Gold Tigers for just 111 and despite a middle of collapse Colts reached the target in the 22nd over.

James Amey made 47 for Newtown earlier in the day but he was the only player to make double figures with sundries the next biggest contributor to the total with 16.

Daniels was the chief destroyer while Dane Cooper (2-13 off eight) and Ben Bruce (2-27 off eight) also contributed.

Colts openers Matthew Devrell (25) and Lyndon Whitney (20) then set Colts on their way and despite losing 5-18 through the middle order Adam Cuskelly (14 not out) got his side home.

An unbeaten 72 from Andrew McKittrick and 59 from Don Harvey led the way for South Dubbo on Saturday as the Hornets defeated Macquarie by 76 runs.

The pair provided the highlights for Souths, who finished their 40 overs at 4-193 before the Hornets bowlers worked their way through the Blues line-up to dismiss them for 117.

Harvey retired hurt on 59 after a 123 run partnership with McKittrick while for Macquarie the four wickets were taken by Rhys French (2-23) and Blake Birchall (2-24).

Macquarie's run chase got off to the worst start as they slumped to 3-11 with only Chad O'Brien (40) and Ben O'Leary (24) providing any resistance,

Matt Wakely was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3-19 from 6.3 overs while Jason Gilly and Tom Mitchell each had a pair of scalps.

CYMS Cougars captain Craig Graham led from the front on Saturday, smashing an unbeaten 86 as his side comfortably defeated Colts Youth Development (YD) by eight wickets.

Six different CYMS bowlers picked up wickets after Colts YD won the toss and elected to bat.

Colts could only manage 131 and that was never going to be enough against Graham, who hit 16 boundaries in his innings.

Graham combined with his son Will for a 86 run opening stand which took the match right away for Colts.

Glenn Armstrong top scored for Colts with 29 while Kalia Ashford impressed with the ball, taking 2-18 from five in a losing side.
