Mr Skordalis, a born and bred Bulldogs fanatic, is confident the Bulldogs can dismantle the Rabbitoh's fairytale of breaking the 43-year premiership drought.
"The Bulldogs put the word dogs into underdog," he said.
"We're the dogs of war and we're a big chance this Sunday."
Mr Skordalis' and his family will be heading off to Sydney on Sunday morning in hopes of seeing the Bulldogs win their ninth premiership- their first since 2004.
Gina's Pizzas is decked out in blue and white balloons, Canterbury flags and scarves fill the pizzeria.
Mr Skordalis even have the words "woof woof" shaved into the back of his head and his daughter Angela painted his head and her face and hair in Bulldogs colours.
Angela said she will be screaming and cheering extra loud at the game and said she thinks Canterbury will win, but will be a loyal supporter whatever the result.
"Win, lose or draw; Bulldogs for life," she said.
"We'll never give up on them."
Only two months ago Canterbury looked like it would've taken a miracle to get them into the finals and hopes of a premiership were all but lost.
But the miracle came and Mr Skordalis is confident the underdogs have peaked at the right time.
"A Bulldogs fan always thinks they can win the grand final," he said.
"We've won our last three games, so we've got momentum."
He also said they will be looking for redemption from their 2012 grand final loss to the Melbourne Storm.
"We have the experience of 2012 grand final," Mr Skordalis said.
"We can't be the first team to let South Sydney win a premiership in 43 years."
A black cloud looms over the Bulldogs premiership hopes however, as a broken foot will likely sideline their captain Michael Ennis.
Other Canterbury players will fill his void, said Mr Skordalis: "Ennis is a major play-maker and will be sorely missed, but Reni Maitua should step up because he has experience from the 2004 grand final."
