TAFE NSW Western Institute and Charles Sturt University have renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Academic Co-operation, which includes a provision for shared use of the library and dental clinic at CSU in Orange.
TAFE NSW Western Institute Director Kate Baxter said the MoU confirmed the commitment of the institutions to work together to ensure people in Western NSW were able to access the best range of vocational and higher education offerings.
"By working together we can guarantee that students can move from TAFE study to university study and fulfil their career aspirations," she said.
Professor Vann said CSU and TAFE NSW Western Institute had developed a mutually beneficial and rewarding relationship across a number of years.
"This is good, not just for the institutions, but for the students and communities... Improving access to all types of tertiary education is a key part of building and maintaining strong and vibrant regional communities."
