The arrival of the bus in Dubbo today is part of a 30,000 kilometre National Roadshow that has already toured Bathurst and Orange and will also travel to Manildra, Warren and Condobolin.
The bus will first visit Dubbo College Delroy Campus and Senior Campus where the team will provide free Youthbeyondblue resources and chat to students about the importance of maintaining good mental health and how to help a friend.
From 1pm the roadshow will set up at the Dubbo Community Men's Shed for a free community barbecue, cooked up by The Rotary Club of Dubbo South. Everyone is encouraged to come past and pick up a free information pack, find out about local support services and enjoy a sausage sizzle.
The bus will then head to the Dubbo RSL to chat with people during the Dubbo chat 'n' check between 5pm and 8pm, before meeting with the Western College Alesco Learning Centre team tomorrow at 9am.
Beyondblue CEO Georgie Harman has urged people to attend the Roadshow event, where they can chat to the beyondblue team in an informal environment.
