The flowing, attacking rugby which deserted the Dubbo Kangaroos at Orange last weekend was on show at No. 1 Oval this afternoon as Paul Hennock's men, without the injured Filisione Pauta and Shaun McHugh, defeated the Parkes Boars 49-3.

The pressure was on the home side after their heavy loss to Emus and despite Parkes opening the scoring with a penalty after five minutes the Roos never looked like being beaten in a one-sided contest.
After the early Riley Byrne penalty the Roos struck back through Brad Pugh as the home side made the most of some sustained forward pressure.
Scott Burgess surprisingly missed the conversion from next to the posts but he made up for five minutes later as he converted John Korff's first try of the afternoon from the sideline.
Ted Bates was strong again for the Dubbo side and sliced through the Parkes defence five minutes later and produced some brilliant footwork to step around the fullback and plant the ball under the post as the Roos got out to a 19-3 lead.
The Roos forward pack was right on top and barnstorming prop Max Ma'a Nelson showed some light feet as he danced down the sideline to score his first of two tries in what was arguably his best performance of the season.
Burgess' attempted conversion hit the post and stayed out as the Roos went into the break with 24-3 lead and they picked up where they left off in the second stanza as Ma'a Nelson barged over from close range to get his second.
Korff quickly followed in getting his second try of the match with a powerful run before teenage debutant Blake Sharp capped off an impressive match on the wing with a try on 60 minutes as he burrowed his way over.
The Parkes defence lifted for the remainder of the match but inside the final five minutes Simon Hegarty grabbed a well deserved try and to put the icing on the result fullback James Mata nailed a drop goal from halfway.
Dubbo Roos coach Paul Hennock was full of praise for his side after the win but wan't getting to carried away and the competition leaders will be hopeful skipper Peter Nau is fine for next week after he rolled his ankle early in today's match and only lasted 15 minutes.
DUBBO KANGAROOS 49 (Max Ma'a Nelson 2, John Korff 2, Brad Pugh, Ted Bates, Blake Sharp, Simon Hegarty tries; Scott Burgess 3 goals, James Mata 1 drop goal)
